I've read this story by Megan Derr multiple times and I enjoy it more each time. This is really a story where appearances are deceiving as the Dragon tamer finds that what he thought he knew as truth was wrong. I really would have liked to have seen Alaith first arriving but you do find out what he's doing far from home and little snippets about his people throughout the story. I really enjoy the interactions between him and Rythe as well and while there is no sex, I find I really didn't need or miss it in this case. Love this one and REALLY wish there was a sequel!Product details

Loved this story - longer would have been good ) - when a story is this good I always want it to be longer - definitely worth reading - so far I've enjoyed all the books I've read by this author
This was a fun read, I would love to revisit this land and see what other trouble the characters can get into.
A good story, but almost a tease with how short it was. World have loved to have more of this particular stories world to explore.
I am always impressed by Derr's ability to build wonderful new worlds and cultures in no time at all. As usual, dissapointed it isn't longer. But loved it all the same!
I'm a sucker for Ms. Derr's magical worlds. Dragons, kingdoms, and sexy men, oh my!
This is another short story that knocks it out of the park. Loved the hate to love theme, the traditions and cultures mentioned, the boys' attitudes and characters, and the plot. Wonderful read.
This is a good book. I only have it 4 stars becise I wish it was a little longer. As always I really enjoy megan deer books.
Amazingly entertaining and well written, this novella (?!?) packed intrigue, humor, and romance minus any hot sex. Nonetheless, still a great read that deserves at least four stars. With a bit of sexiness, I'd have upped it to five!
